The original ranch was founded in the early 1900’s as one of the largest parcels of land in the Texas Hill Country. With a working silver mine, ongoing cattle and sheep operation, and a wealth of livestock, the ranch soon became famous for its lively activity. The ranch is abundant with relics of time’s past! Historical dwellings, equipment, mine shafts, and the original silver mine make touring the ranch a truly commemorative experience.
